Autism Diagnostic Evaluation Schedule(ADOS-2) for Evaluation of Behavior and Communication in Toddlers with Concern of Autism Spectrum Disorder

Abstract
Early diagnosis of developmental disorders is critical for the efficiency of intervention. However, timely detection is complicated by the absence of a biological test, insufficient specificity of screening instruments as well as low awareness among parents and professionals about characteristics of early age behavior and communication. The article presents a new module of the ADOS-2, a widely-used observation schedule for people presumed to have an autism spectrum disorder. This module is designed for use with children of 12 to 30 months of age.
