Experimental Psychology is a peer-reviewed journal published by Moscow State University of Psychology and Education at the base of University Center for Experimental Psychology. The journal publishes original high-quality papers that contribute to the development of experimental method in Psychology in Russia and worldwide, analysis of trends in experimental research in General, Differential and Applied Psychology, Psychophysiology and Psychophysics. Experimental Psychology serves to consolidation of researchers who use and develop experimental methods. It provides space for discussing new advances in technological and mathematical methods of research in Russia and abroad. Experimental Psychology is aimed to maintain high standards of scientific empirical research in Psychology. All papers published in the journal are fully peer-reviewed by double-blind review. Manuscripts Submission
Our journal is focused on the publication of the results of experimental research, works on the theory and methodology of psychological experiments, information about programmatical algorithms and operational hardware, and about important events in the experimental psychology
An article, which is dedicated to an experimental research, as a rule, must contain: the description of the main goal of the research, task fulfilled, method, apparatus hardware and the method of its usage, stimuli material, participants, dependent and independent variables, instructions, procedures, received data and the method of data processing, and also results discussion and general discussion (main conclusions). Short articles with the descriptions of preliminary results, apparatus for experimental research, scientific events and etc. may exclude one or a few of the above positions. An article must have an abstract (summary) up to 1000-1200 characters and key words. At the end there must be bibliography (references). References within the text of an article must be presented in brackets (including the author, year of publication). References to foreign sources in the text and bibliography should be provided in the original language, though accurate transliteration is acceptable. An article’s volume should be up to 30 000 characters, a report – up to 15 000 characters. Page format – A4, margins – 2,5 cm from each side, font – Times New Roman, 12 point type; paragraph indent – 2,5 cm, line spacing – 1,5. An article title is composed with capital letters. One line space should be included after the title, annotation, the main text of article and bibliography An author should submit a print copy to the editorial board (by mail to the editorial address, to the secretary or to one of the editorial board members), and send an electronic version on e-mail address: expeditorial@gmail.com. Illustrations, figures, tables and diagrams should be submitted in separate files, in .jpg, .tif,.xls formats, on optical media or sent by e-mail. It is best to avoid printing titles on illustrations or diagrams: it preferable to provide numeric designations along with such materials. After an article is reviewed and accepted for publication, the publisher reserves all publication rights to that article. In other words, once the publishers accept an author’s article for publication, the author cannot submit it for publication anywhere else, without our express permission.
