Risk factors in early ontogenesis and peculiarities of verbal development of seven-to-eight-year-old children who live in the conditions of the far north region 1393

Abstract
The article considers the problems of verbal development of children of primary school age who were exposed to various risk factors in early ontogenesis. Results of studies of the verbal development of the group of children 7-8 years old, born and living in conditions of Circumpolar Region (Arkhangelsk and Mezen), suggests that «damaging» factors have a negative effect first of all on development of verbal functions: verbal generalization, analysis, synthesis, verbal classifications and arbitrary possession of speech, verbal thinking. Such risk factors as maternal smoking during pregnancy, artificial feeding of the child from birth, medication during pregnancy, fetal hypoxia, have the most negative impact on the functional maturity of verbal function of first-year primary school students.
