Abstract

L. I. Bozhovich left not a very large archive. The most interesting are her work notes that were not reflected in the publications. These published materials are those, which relate to three areas of concern, that she was particularly interested in her last years. The first one she identified as «multidimensional person», meaning hereunder the actions of different motivation categories - conscious and unconscious, from relationships and dynamics of which an action of a person may depend. The second layer of problems that she was interested in, relate to the notion of conformis - conscious adjustment. The third layer of the problems - seems to be most important for her the development of will as a holistic psychological system. She was troubled by emerging trend in science to "dissolve" the will in other phenomena: arbitrariness, dedication, and the like. She believed that the sources and a reality of the will should be found not in a person's collision with external obstacles, but in experience of overcoming internal difficulties.
