The ratio of orientation of subject-based comparison and personal characteristics

Abstract

In this article, contemporary ideas about individual differences in social comparisons and their correspondence to personality traits are discussed. The results of the study aimed at revealing relationships between social comparison orientation, tested with the help of an original questionnaire. Such personality traits as self-confidence, self-respect, anxiety and empathy are presented.
