Research on the Connection between Legitimization of Violence and Tendency towards Aggressive Behaviour

Abstract

The article describes a research on the connection between people's attitude towards socially acceptable forms of violence, hostile attitudes and real aggressive behaviour. Among the subjects enrolled in the study were 339 law-abiding individuals and 92 delinquents. The study also includes psychometric analysis of a special technique developed for identifying one's attitude towards socially acceptable forms of violence.
