Abstract

Tentative definition of the term “collaboration” is proposed from the viewpoint of cultural-historical psychology as basic principle of organization of interaction between people. The method of organizing collaboration of a preschooler with an adult or a peer when solving constructive task of putting together jigsaw with the use of computer software is described. The technique was elaborated with application of pairing method introduced by L. I. Bojhovitch and L. S. Slavina. The sample group of the research included 23 children (6,0 to 6,7 years old; 6,4 on average). At the preliminary stage, the intelligence level was defined with the use of Kaufmans’ test КАВС-II, and two groups of equal average level were set. These groups took part in two settings of the main stage of the research: collaboration with an adult and collaboration with a peer. Comparative analysis of verbal records revealed particularity of language interaction of a six-years old child with a partner: paired with peers, children use directing speech twice more, but helping speech and autonomous speech twice less then paired with adults.
