Socio-psychological Factors of Job Burnout of Young Educational Professionals

Abstract

The goal of research is to identify how professional burnout of young teachers and educational psychologists depends on the social and psychological factors of the organizational environment. Study sample was young professionals of Moscow educational organizations, specifically 110 teachers and 108 educational psychologists. We used standardized methods such as "Emotional burnout" by V.V. Boyko; "Motivational profile" by S. Ritchie and P. Martin, "Individual styles of communication and educational activities" by A.K. Markova and A.Ya. Nikonova; "Integral job satisfaction" by A.V. Batarshev. The empirical study results have revealed that burnout of young professionals is depends on social and psychological factors of the organizational environment such as specifics of pedagogical work; working relationships in the educational organization and personal features of young professionals: motivational profile, interpersonal communication, job satisfaction.
