Abstract

The paper presents the results of the empirical research on the phenomenology of moral decision making in a group, on the influence of the sociometric structure of the real group upon this process, and on the dynamics of individual moral consciousness in the process of group discussion. The main outcome of the research is that the sociometric structure has a crucial effect on the type of group moral decision and provides for an overestimation of the rational component of moral functioning in moral psychology.
