Cultural-Historical Psychology #3/2007, Pages 72-79 Twenty Years After (Brooding over the book by A.A. Puzirey «Psychology. Psychotechnique. Psychagogy»))Authors: Venger A.L. Keywords: cultural-historical theory, Christian psychology, psychotherapy, subject of psychology, research methods, philosophy, theology, methodology Abstract The article concerns the analysis of some tendencies in modern home psychology. Recent publications of A.A. Puzirey, F.E. Vasiliuk and other Russian psychologists show the refusal of orientation at cultural-historical and activity paradigm that was predominant in psychology of the second half of the XX-th century. It was replaced by search of new contents of psychology at the butt of philosophy and theology. The competence and the perspective of this direction are under discussion in the context of general regularities of the development of psychology and public conscience on the whole for the period of the last century and a half.
