Abstract
The paper analyses the central concept of L.I. Bozhovich's theory of personality. The author describes three aspects of inner position (affective, motivational and reflective), focuses on its methodological and general psychological meaning, and summarises current studies on inner position in school-age children (including those conducted under the guidance of the author).
