Social and psychological support of the process of adaptation of children from different cultures in an educational institution 1080

Abstract
The article describes the results of the research of social and psychological support of the process of adaptation of children from different cultures in an educational institution that has been carried out for five years. The existing approaches to organizing trainings of sociocultural adaptation in Russian and foreign psychology are analyzed. The comparative analysis of research and control groups revealed positive dynamics of sociocultural adaptation, indicators of ethnic tolerance, ethnic identity and valence in migrant children and children from the host population. It proves the effectiveness of sociocultural support of the adaptation process in migrant children and children from the host population in the frames of complex program “We are together” aimed at the development of sociocultural competence of the subjects of educational process. The main goal of the program is psychological support for migrant pupils in the course of their sociocultural adaptation, identification and self-realization at an educational institution.
