Construction of Situation of the Own Action: Mode of Action and Intention

Abstract
This study represents an attempt to construct such a model situation that would provoke the deliberate creation and appropriation of the general mode of action and, accordingly, identify and describe the criteria for full-scale mediation. The following situations were lined up in the experiment: a) with the possibility of solving either by means of the developed tool or directly; b) with the possibility of variative display of own action or effort to the participant; c) based on the different methods of intention initiation. The study involved 98 participants — students of 2nd, 6th and 9th grades of a secondary school. The following key findings were made in the study: the construction of intentional action requires a complex mediation, consisting of three levels of interrelated tools: the means for solving a specific task, the means of relating several tasks, the means of generalizing a group of tasks; construction of means for solving a specific task requires testing the means' possibilities of allocation of the activity object key characteristics.
