The development of communication in patients with the severe forms of mental pathology by the dancing movement teaching method (based on the argentine tango)

Abstract
Described the results of the dancing movement teaching method usage research aiming to diagnose and correct the communicative disorders of the people with degree of disablement due to severe mental illness (schizophrenia, autism, epilepsy). Basing on the case study method and specially created criteria system showed positive dynamic of patients communicative skills during the Argentine tango teaching. Demonstrated that during specially arranged Argentine tango teaching process mental patients of the classes started easier to establish and maintain interpersonal contacts, their self-confidence increased and decreased restraint, started to express their emotions more vividly and to demonstrate initiative, improvise and enjoy dancing.
