Psychological Science and Education Features of Verbal Self-Presentation in Preschoolers with Speech Disorders

Abstract
The article describes a research on verbal self-presentation in preschool children with speech
disorders. The research was carried out on children with general speech underdevelopment (GSU) using experimental methods and methods of psycholinguistic analysis. Research results
reveal qualitative and quantitative rates of cognitive and emotional components of self-consciousness in self-presentation. The author states that in typical conditions children with GSU do not achieve the appropriate level of development of basic personality components by the end of preschool age, which obviously affects their verbal self-presentation.
