Possibilities of computer games application for development of perceptual actions

Abstract
Article presents results of a study where approbation of computer games was carried out for detecting their developmental effect. Children's actions while solving constructive tasks in a computer game were analyzed; an attempt was made to determine influence degree of computer games on the perceptual actions development; transfer of perceptual modeling skills formed in the computer game to the tasks performed on paper was analyzed. it is concluded that transfer of skills formed in a computer game on the other types of perceptual modeling tasks may serve as an index of educative influence of computer game on perceptual actions development. It is this index that can serve as an objective psychological evidence for expert assessment of developmental effect of computer games.
