Interdepartmental course «Parents Academy» as a mean of development of vocational focus in students on teaching foreign language to preschoolers

Abstract

The article deals with questions of learning and optimization the formation of professional focus in students on teaching a foreign language to preschool children. We show that one of the means of achieving this aim is an interdepartmental course «Parents Academy», which aims at changing students attitudes on working with preschool age children through the integration of teaching students from Faculty of Pedagogy and methods of pre-school education and English literature, using interactive forms and methods of teaching and inclusion of students in project activities. In the article authors also attempt to identify the factors negatively influencing on development of professional training system in students for teaching pre-school children English, as well as psychoeducational environment conditions conducive to its development.
