Growing-up Risks in the Consciousness of Young People of Fifteen and Twenty Years Old

Abstract
Subject of the current research was the experience of possible risks of growing up process in the consciousness of young people in the period of adolescence and youth. The basis of the study lies on the conceptions of the crisis and the developmental tasks in their relationship with changes occurring in consciousness. The study was carried out in reliance on the tradition of cultural-historical psychology and is based on the works of L.S. Vygotsky, D.B. Elkonin and L.I. Bozhovich. In addition the conceptions of the identity integration in period of adolescence and youth, belonging to the tradition of ego-psychology - an approach proposed by E. Erikson, were taken into account. In addition in the discussion thoughts of Russian philosopher A.S. Arseniev, Russian psychiatrist A.E. Licko and Polish psychotherapist K. Obukhovskij about the possible risks of growing up in modern conditions are included. Authors’ own assumption includes the idea that the transition from infantile to mature self-consciousness is mediated by self-reflective phase and by the search for the meaning of existence. The study used the epistolary metaphors technique. The phenomenology of transit risk experiences is shown.
