Psychological Training for Managers as Factor of Management Effectiveness 1071

The article discusses the socio-psychological competence of managers necessary to implement effective management. The possible methods and forms of measurement, analysis and evaluation of professionally important personality qualities, the main aspects of management activities, as well as some individual personality traits of leaders with a high level of managerial and socio-psychological competence are investigated. We believe that the study of manager's personality and aspects of management should be based on an integrated approach that would allow effective professional development of leader’s personality and formation of an adequate attitude to his/her professional activity. The comprehensive evaluation includes both evaluation of activity in general, in totality of its functions, and the manager's personality. The aim of the article was to determine the importance degree of professional and psychological training of leaders for their psycho-social competence and efficiency in management, as well as for proper training organization of executive staff reserve.
