Methods of psychological support of professional self-determination

In order to identify the criteria and to create an applied classification of methods of psychological support of professional self-determination, the contribution analyses the Russian psychologists’ perceptions of systematization of psychology methods in the context of solution of the problem of professional self-determination and professional self-development. On the basis of theoretical analysis and the results of the author’s empirical research, the author propose to systematize the methods of psychological support of professional self-determination in accordance with the main directions of its activization and the age-related peculiarities of the self-determination subjects. The contribution also presents the complex programs of psychological support of professional self-determination for children of preschool, junior school, adolescent and senior school age, which were developed by the author and implemented in educational institutions of the Republic of Mariy El.
