On the Subject and Main Tasks of Organizational Psychology in Its Current Developmental Stage 913

The paper gives an overview of the development of organizational psychology as a practice-oriented branch of psychological science, outlines the author's views on the main methodological issues related to the subject and main research tasks of work psy- chology in the context of innovative economics, and suggests a way in which these issues can be addressed. As it is shown, in the course of its development organization- al psychology has been evolving from the use of psychological knowledge for the pur- poses of increasing organizational efficiency within flow production to the solution of a wide range of problems referring both to social psychological and acmeological sup- port of innovative development.
