Проблема влияния порядка рождения детей в семье на их интеллектуальные способности и личностные особенности

Аннотация

В статье анализируются теоретические подходы и результаты эмпирических исследований проблемы влияния порядка рождения детей в семье на их интеллектуальные и творческие способности, достижения в образовании, личностные черты, поведенческие особенности и социальные предпочтения. Показано, что результаты исследований различаются в зависимости от способа анализа данных – эффект снижения интеллекта при увеличении порядкового номера рождения обнаруживается при сравнении показателей большого количества детей с разным порядком рождения из разных семей, и как правило не выявляется при внутрисемейном анализе данных. Для объяснения полученных различий используются три основных теоретических модели – модель слияния, модель истощения ресурсов и модель примеси. Обусловленные порядком рождения различия в личностных чертах выражены сильнее, различия в когнитивной сфере. Данные исследований подтверждают, что по результатам личностного опросника «Большая пятерка» у первенцев более выражена «добросовестность», а у младших детей – «доброжелательность» и «открытость опыту». Отдельные работы, посвященные особенностям социального взаимодействия старших и последующих детей, демонстрируют большую способность младших детей к кооперации. Несмотря на то, что прогностическая значимость выявленных на больших выборках эффектов не так велика в отношении отдельных семей, результаты могут иметь практическую значимость для педагогической и психотерапевтической работы с детьми.
