Education and professional work

Anna Shvedovskaya is the head of the Information and Analytics department of Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE). She is one of the key figures in the university editorial activities: deputy editor-in-chief of the journal “Psychological Science and Education”, editor of the electronic journal “Psychological Science and Education” www.psyedu.ru and editor-in-chief of the academic psychology portal www.psyjournals.ru. She is a member of SEBDA International academic committee.

 

Anna Shvedovskaya graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University. She has been assistant professor at the Developmental psychology department, Educational psychology faculty, MSUPE for 8 years. She also has professional experience of work with children and their families in charities and state educational institutions. In 2006 she obtained academic status of PhD having presented thesis “Specific of emotional experience of child-parent relations and child-parents interactions in older preschoolers”.

 

Current research

The Information and Analytics department, MSUPE is working on the project “Higher psychological education in Russia: stakeholders, programs and emerging standards”.
