The case study of teaching greeting skill to the child with ASD

Abstract

Social problems are practically universal in children with autism spectrum disorders. The important stage of the social skills training is teaching adherence to basic social protocols. Such protocols include greeting familiar people and addressing them by name while maintaining eye contact. The article describes the case of teaching the child with ASD the greeting skill.
