Environmental approach in work with a special child. The setting of contactand engaging at music lessons 655
The fragments of group and individual music lessons which were held in the Moscow Center for Curative Pedagogics with children with emotional and volitional development features are described. To overcome the difficulties of adaptation, establish contact with children and involve them in game interaction, the environmental approach that underlies the work of the center’s specialists is used. The spatio-temporal and emotional characteristics of the therapeutic environment, as well as its semantic content, are considered. Examples are given, practical techniques and instruments of work, developed on the basis of the author’s long standing pedagogical experience, are described.

The material was prepared within the framework of the project “Special Children - Happy Families” of the Fund for Support of Children in a difficult life situation. The purpose of the project: comprehensive psychological and pedagogical support for families with disabled children to ensure the maximum possible development of such children in the conditions of family upbringing, their socialization, integration into society.
