Psychology and Law Aggressiveness in Belorussian Criminals Convicted for Different Types of Crimes 1044Fourmanov I.A. Abstract
The structure of aggressiveness as a delinquent’s personal trait is regarded as consisting of four sub-traits: physical aggression, verbal aggression, anger, hostility. It is marked out that in criminals who committed manslaughter have significantly higher levels of physical and verbal aggression that people convicted for the other violent crimes, sexual offence and non-violent crimes. It is shown that verbal aggression has the highest proportion in the structure of aggressiveness, significantly exceeding the other sub-traits levels in groups, convicted for manslaughter, sexual offence and non-violent crimes. Violent vector of crimes is mainly conditioned with interrelationships of physical aggression, anger and hostility, inclination to verbal aggression. Peculiarities of aggressiveness in the convicted for different types of crimes are described.
