On the problem of overcoming crises of negotiative activity in the practice of internal affairs bodies 1115
The contribution is devoted to the problem of negotiations with criminals in different criminal situations. The author studies different criminal situations which can be critical by their nature. The contribution analyses demands to professional psychological training of employees of internal affairs bodies. The author identifies the main factors which influence the organization of psychological support of negotiative process between employees of internal affairs bodies and criminals. Negotiations with criminals are viewed as one of non-violent means of fighting with crime, which is in a number of criminal situations a dialogue with criminals (criminal groups, organizations, communities) for the purpose of inclining them through psychological influence toward agreement on rejection of further criminal activity, active cooperation in discovery and investigation of crimes, search and arrest of criminals, elimination of caused harm, acquisition of operational and criminalistically valuable information. The contribution contains the main aims, tasks and methods of professional psychological training, one the aims of which is forming of negotiative competence of employees of internal affairs bodies.
