Abstract
The contribution justifies the necessity of development of coping-personal behavior of the officers of internal affairs bodies as an ability to independently overcome negative influences of the environment, a skill of minimizing the influence of established norms and affecting the situation on one’s own. Taking into account the subject-object approach to education of officers in the system of interior authorities, the development of behavior which overcomes the influence of environment, is hindered. Conformism, generally inherent to human beings, may play both positive (acceptance of professional norms, positive traditions of collective) and negative role (interiorization of negative mindsets and rules of collective) in adaption of an officer. The article shows the capabilities of the subject “Psychology” for development of the skill of withstanding an influence, making independent decisions. It gives examples of officers’ classes on the topic of “Psychology of groups and collectives” in the form of lecture-discussion, discussion of the movie “Lord of the flies”, training game “The red and the black”.

Keywords: conformism, subjectivity, subject-object approach, learned disposition for obedience, coping-personal behavior, officers of interior authorities.
