Clinical Psychology and Special Education is an international, interdisciplinary quarterly electronic journal published by the Moscow State University of Psychology and Education and devoted to theoretical and applied research of ontogenesis and dysontogenesis.The journal contains original articles of Russian and foreign psychologists, defectologists, educators, social and medic workers, ombudsmen in Russian and English languages; it includes abstracts of all articles in English. The journal implements the contextual understanding of individual development trajectories in norm and pathology.
All manuscripts submitted for publishing undergo a procedure of independent anonymous review. They are reviewed by the leading professors of the department of clinical psychology and psychology of special needs of Moscow State University of Psychology and Education, as well as highly qualified specialists (including foreign specialists) from other institutions and organizations, who work in the field which is stated in the articles.
The journal gives specific attention to the problems of inclusive and special education as well as questions of abilitation and rehabilitation of persons with disabilities and psychological help to their families.
