The peculiarities of social adjustment of artistically gifted students

Abstract

The article discusses the issue of social adjustment of gifted students in an art school. The author points out that the problem is lack of literature studied. In the course of the research there was determined that the adjustment of gifted students in the group has its peculiarities, caused as by objective as well as subjective reasons. On the one hand – by unadjusted activity of gifted person, on the other hand – by the negative attitude of social environment towards them. The obtained results argue that social adjustment can lead to inner conflicts, prevent from the development of the creativity of a person.
