Erasova N.Ju.
Post-Graduate Student of the Second Year of the Faculty of Social Psychology of MSPPU, Head of the Department of Professional Standards Development and Knowledge Management of JSC "Bank URALSIB", Moscow, Russia

The article deals with the problem of interrelation of professionally relevant personal characteristics with peculiarities of psychosocial development and the structure of individual's ego-identity. Empiric research findings show that peculiarities of psychosocial development are one of the main factors that mediate successful person's self-realization in the professional field. It justifies the usage of psychosocial approach as theoretical and methodological basis for innovational programs during the modernization of higher professional and postgraduate education.
