Self-Presentation in Male Teachers Working in Secondary Schools in the Context of Their Professional Activity

Abstract

The author analyses subjective professional experience of male teachers and explores their identity in its relation to their professional choice and self-actualisation. The author also addresses the problem of constructing a specific, 'alternative' type of male identity which combines both traditional norms of male culture and certain values of female culture.
