Abstract

Article presents an overview of modern international researches of toy and play phenomenon. Main directions of researches are: theoretical approaches to toy phenomenon in a culture and society, cross cultural studies, toy's influence on child personality development, including studies of toy's influence on children aggressiveness, specifics of modern toy market, specifics of toy expertise.
