Personality-Centered Interaction Between Staff at the Child Care Center and Foster Children as a Condition for Social and Emotional Development of Children 1204
The paper presents recommendations on the organization of conditions for social and emotional development of children in the orphanage. The low quality of interaction between employees and children in care centers of a closed type and lack of personality-centered attitude to the child are shown in the first part of the article. Results of previous studies allowed to define the general requirements for interaction and methods of personality-centered interaction between an adult and a child that were developed at operational level and contribute to the development of "Self image” and attachment to an adult. The second part of the article describes the content of training programs aimed at organization of personality-oriented interaction between employees of the orphanage and children, as well as training aimed at improving interpersonal communication between the employees.
