Specifics of Creativity Development on the Basis of Story and Fairy Tale Composition Using Ganny Rodari’s Method 1776

Abstract
The article describes one of the modern approaches to research of creative abilities of preschool children. A quasi-experimental research was carried out which was aimed at identification of psychological specifics of creativity development of senior preschool children based on story and fairy tale composition using G.Rodari’s method. Comparative analysis of results of studies of 1995 and 2011 done on a single methodological basis, confirmed the hypothesis of existence of specifics of creative abilities development in two groups of senior preschool children. They are the differences of main indexes which were pointed out under the following criteria: 1) “productivity-reproductivity”, 2) “magicpragmatism”, “prosocial direction – aggressiveness”, in stories and fairy tales composed by children. The article points out a significant increase of pragmatist, reproductive and prosocially directed results of creativity of a group of modern preschoolers. Dynamics of agressiveness development in testees’ utterances were not documented. Significant gender differences were not detected.
