Psychological Science and Education Values in rescuers with varying degrees of emotional burnout 1783Kashirskiy D.V. Sabelnikova N.V. Ovchinnikova A.N. Abstract
The article deals with the values of workers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations Rescue Group with varying degrees of burnout. We tested the assumptions about relationship of burnout and content of subjective values in rescuers, their level of self-realization in different areas of life, self-realization satisfaction, internal conflicts in values system. The sample consisted of 54 rescue officers (men aged 24 to 50 years). We used MBI questionnaire (C. Maslach and S. Jackson) in adaptation of N. E. Vodopyanova, that reveals level and manifestations of burnout, and KVS-3 questionnaire (D.V. Kashirskiy), aimed at diagnostics of subjective values, level of self- realization, satisfaction with different aspects of life. We showed relationship between emotional burnout and features of values and meanings sphere in rescuers, their marital status, age and length of service.
