Psychological Science and Education psyedu.ru The Asymmetry and Disequilibrium of Psychological Positions in Dialogic Interaction 916Dmitrieva L.G. Abstract
The article analyzes the asymmetry of dialogue. The theoretical propositions are supported by the empirical data. The factors of disequilibrium and asymmetry of psychological position and stiffness in communication are obtained. The author argues that the actual dialogic interaction is based not only on interaction, but also on the influence oriented on development of the student’s personality and on his/her transfer to the subject position. The phenomenon of the psychological position asymmetry was studied by the author in different psychological theories, such as the theory of cognitive dissonance, psychosemantic approach and psychology of understanding. The relevance of this psychological phenomenon in the dialogue is shown; as the reality of dialogical interaction is open to cooperation and resolution of the contradictions originated in the dialogue. The asymmetry of the dialogue is one of the important characteristics of the subject-subject interaction, which in the real situation of communication is unbalanced and determined by personal meanings and difficulties in establishing the contacts. Nevertheless, the subject is able to overcome the negative manifestations of interpersonal interactions and create the readiness for dialogue, in which flexibility in interactions and social competence is manifested.
Keywords: real and ideal dialogue, asymmetry and disequilibrium of psychological positions in the dialogue, dialogical reality. Column: Social Psychology References
