Problem of elder pupils’ socialization in conditions of modern education 1481

Abstract
The article describes the relevance of the problem of studying psychological characteristics of elder pupils’ socialization, their notions of their own personal results of assimilation of the secondary (full) education programme, which is one of priority directions of working with elder pupils in conditions of transition and implementation of the Federal national standard of secondary (full) education (FNSE) into Russian education system. The article presents an explicate analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature on the problem of socialization of children and adolescents, emphasis is made on the description of particularities of socialization process and formation of self-sustained mature personality of an elder pupil with developed spiritual and moral values, psychologically prepared for entering adult life. While describing the particularities of modern socialization process, the author points at the number of risks which can distort this process, make it less effective for a growing man. Basing on his own practical experience of teaching “Psychology” in school, the author views the psychology lessons for elder pupils as a condition of forming of psychological literacy of pupils and, as a consequence, rise of elder pupils’ socialization level.
