This article (a brief report) discusses the main characteristics of the Many-Facet Rasch Model, (MFRM) and illustrates the use of this model by the example of a research of individual differences in the process of understanding of the read material. The illustration is based on the data from 4020 testees whose responses to the questions on the read material were integrated in a single latent skill scale, despite a vast range of age-specific characteristics of the testees and the variety of questions\tasks.
