Abstract
The article presents a study of psychological and physiological health indices of future psycholo-gists - 62 students of II-IV years aged from 20 to 45 (9 males and 53 females). Methods and techniques were used which allow the researchers to evaluate personal and reactive anxiety, speech anxiety, level of depression, emotionality, neurotization and probability of existence of a neurosis, subjective self-evaluation, sense of time, vegetative dysfunctions, heart rate and breathing indices (at rest and while reading text aloud), quality of phonation and speech. Valid differences in all psychological and a number of physiological indices among persons with high and moderate personal anxiety confirmed the advisability of such complex examination for diagnosis of functional condition of the test subjects.
