Psychological Science and Education psyedu.ru Forming of descriptive coherent speech among children with system non-development of speech 3299Ivanova N.N. Abstract
The contribution examines the problem of system non-development of speech among children of pre-school and early school age, its reasons and ways of overcoming this defect. It describes a special method proposed by the author, which was developed on the basis of concepts of L.S.Vygotskiy, A.R.Luria, J.Piaget, P.Y.Galperin, L.A.Venger, and A.A.Leontiev. Much attention is paid to teaching descriptive speech to children as one of the most important forming stages of coherent speech. In order to develop the linguistic ability the character-symbolic activity is used; a specific algorithm of object description is proposed, which is presented in pictures and schemes; detailed examples of working with children with general non-development of speech are given and commented upon. The proposed method forms and improves the verbal skills of children due to development of proper verbal logic and ability to classify categorically ordered images of various objects. Simplicity, laconism and clarity of images make it easily understandable, rememberable and usable by children.
Keywords: system non-development of speech, forming of coherent speech, verbal utterances, algorithm of descriptive speech References
