Standardization in social service – the way of increasing quality of providing services

In the article are discussed the features of the development of standardization of services. Also is justified actuality of the standardization of social services, the introduction of quality management in social service institutions as mechanisms of improving the quality of services provided. Is reviewrd the activities of SFO Khanty – Ugra «Methodology Center of Development of Social Services»; (Surgut, Khanty – Ugra), which is aimed at creating conditions and providing a package of measures to improve the efficiency of the institutions, which are subordinated by the Department of Social Development of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous district – Ugra.
