Diagnostical category “Deficits in Attention, Motor Control and Perception” in foreign literature

Abstract

We present a review of foreign literature on analysis of diagnostical category “Deficits in Attention, Motor Control and Perception” (DAMP). Attention is drawn to the history of the emergence of this category and to specifics of establishing such a diagnosis. We review epidemiological data, frequency of incidence, comorbidity, DAMP risk factors, cognitive functioning features and developmental prognosis in patients with this developmental pathology.
