Варианты старения в зависимости от способа жизнеустройства: опыт зарубежных исследований

Аннотация

Благополучное старение (aging well) – один из ключевых вопросов современных геронтопсихологии, психологии здоровья и экологической психологии. В экологической психологии период поздней взрослости рассматривается как наиболее восприимчивый к предметно-пространственным и организационным характеристикам среды проживания в связи с истощением физических и социальных ресурсов позитивного функционирования у пожилых людей и, соответственно, возрастающим требовательным характером среды (Environmental press–competence model). В статье анализируются современные исследования двух вариантов старения в зависимости от жизнеобитания – старения в домашних условиях (aging in place) и в условиях казенных учреждений (institutional care) – с точки зрения благотворности их влияния на психологическое здоровье и удовлетворенность качеством жизни людей преклонного возраста.
