Abstract

This theoretical and experimental research compares subjective and objective characteristics of work with texts in students. The data was collected using new assessment methods. As it was discovered in the research, 'weak' students tend to overestimate results of their work. Research findings are discussed in the context of Russian and foreign researches on the problem of self-appraisal.
