Oculomotor activity during performance of the task of nonverbal identification of transitional expressions of a face

Abstract

This experimental research aims to study the features of oculomotor activity in performance of the task of non-verbal indentification of facial expressions. The subjects were proposed to determine the correspondence between photos of combined expressions and graphic schemes of the basic facial expressions. The preliminary results indicate the possibility of using indicators of oculomotor activity to determine the position of the boundary between categories (basic expression).
