Microdynamics of assessment of individual psychological features of representatives of different racial groups

Abstract

This article presents the results of experimental studies of the assessing of individual psychological characteristics of representatives of different racial groups by the expression of their faces at different time intervals of exposition of a photographic image. It is shown that the connection between adequate assessment of individual psychological characteristics of people by photographs of faces and time of perception of photographic image is complex, nonlinear and depends: firstly, on the specifics of the psychological qualities that are evaluated by an observer, and secondly, on the duration of exposure of an assessed person’s face, and thirdly, on the racial morphotype of a face, and, fourthly, on the sex of the evaluated individual.
