Intentional patterns in replicas of interlocutors

Abstract

Intentional characteristics of dialogue and their modification in the process of interaction are studied on the basis of authentic conversations of the students. Using the method of intent-analysis the authors describe the various intentional patterns of speech interaction. Such factors of dialogue organization as the types of response actions of partners (direct, delayed, combined) are characterized. Factors determining the cases of ignoring of communicative partners’ intentions are also investigated.
