Abstract

The article presents some peculiarities of the new translation of The Song of Igor's Campaign made by the author of the present article as well as the translations by the most famous Russian authors of different times. The translations are compared and their advantages and shortcomings come to light. The subjects of the authorship of The Song and the time of its creation are touched upon as well.
