Abstract

The article discusses the issues of violence of social institutions and family towards children. The authors observe different theoretical approaches as a background for the violence studies, and also regard sociocultural factors of violence. The paper presents the actual tendencies of family violence as a social issue in the contemporary Russian society and shows possible ways of solving the problem.
